Antenna Rotator System - ARS for DOS

ARS for DOS, will let you turn your antennas from any DOS application such as SwissLog.  Even when using your Packet Terminal you will be able to point to the correct place.  If satellite activity is your passion, you can use ARS from many applications that run with KCT - like the Instant-Track
ARS version v.3.7.b for DOS includes the following programs:

  • Setup.exe:
Configuration program: it lets you choose the LPT (parallel) port, customize the Azimuth/Elevation rotor, etc.
  • RciPlus.exe:
Main Program that installs a TSR subroutine for handling the RCI Board via interrupt 0x61h.
  • RciKct.com:
Interface program between the RCIPlus API and the KCT API. When loading this driver after the RCIPlus, the RCIPlus works as the KCT driver.
  • ARS.exe:
Utility program that let you manually position the rotor using the RCI board. It's a TSR program with hot-key activation and friendly interface.
  • Arstart.exe:
    An uninstall utility.
  • Demo programs:
Several programs with the source code included. These example programs will be useful for those who want to integrate the RCI API into their own application. The languages for the programs are "C" and "Pascal".

ARS Specifications:

  • Compatible with many HAM programs such as Baycom, CT, TR-Log, SwissLog, ...
  • It can automatically receive the beam angle from another Log Program.
